We are sad to announce that on October 30, 2020, at the age of 88, Merry F. Valdahl of New Hampton, Iowa, born in Toledo, Iowa passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Merry F. Valdahl to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John A. Gray and Irma Gray (Harris); her husband James; her siblings-in-law, Mary Heintz, Gaylord Vogt, Molly Gray and Joe Zajicek; and her nephew George "Rusty" Zajicek.
She is survived by: her former spouse Lumir Dedic; her children, Nancy Inserra (Thomas) of Cave Creek, AZ, Gray "Tony" Dedic of Hayward, CA, Susan Worley of Phoenix, Karen Steffes (Mark) of Cedar Falls, Brad Dedic (Beth) of Roland and Mike Valdahl of St. Paul, MN.; her grandchildren, John, Elizabeth Inserra, Lucas, Adam Brown, Sam Worley, Jacob and Spencer Dedic; her siblings, Gloria Zajicek, Dianne Gray (Roger) and John Harris Gray; and her siblings-in-law, Thomas Valdahl (Linda) and Donna Vogt. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid, a family gathering will be held in her honor on Wednesday, November 4th at the Conway-Markham funeral home followed by a graveside service with Pastor Kevin Frey officiating.
