He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Salz and Dora Salz (Vogel); his siblings, Ambrose Salz and Monica Halbach; his siblings-in-law, Donald Hemann, Harry Hemann, Jerome Halbach and Marge Salz; and his nieces and nephews, Matthew Schutta, Kenny Halbach, Angie Krueger (Halbach) and Therese Halbach (Durben).

He is survived by: his siblings, Leo Salz (Phyllis) of East Chain, MN, Edward Salz of Osage, IA, Roman Salz (Vivian) of Rochester, MN, Wilmer Salz (Mary Ann) of Mesa, AZ, Roma Hemann of Osage and Catherine Schutta (Alvin) of St. Michael, MN..

If so desired, memorials may be given to Holy Family Parish or the New Hampton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
