We are sad to announce that on June 20, 2024, at the age of 99, Marilynn Curry of New Hampton, Iowa, born in Canby, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Marilynn has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Carlisle Ellis (Carl) and Nellie Maude Beam Ellis; her husband Bob Curry; and her brothers, Don and Bob Ellis.
She is survived by: her children, Bill Curry of Ann Arbor and Carolyn Hakes (David) of Cedar Falls; her granddaughters, Madelyn Bell (Jenny) of Nashville and Rachel Webert (Patrick) of Seattle; and her great grandchildren, Tucker and Lennon Bell.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Northcrest Community or Ames United Church of Christ.
