She was predeceased by: her parents, George "Pat" Winter and Loretta Winter; her husband Alvin Winter; and her siblings-in-law, Sharon Winter and Larry Kurtenbach.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Winter (Denice) of New Hampton, Jacqueline Sharp (Joe) of Centerville, IA, Donna Bagge (Charles) of Cedar Rapids, IA and Diane Von Ah (Lance) of Carmel, IN; her grandchildren, Jennifer Jeffrey (Andrew), Kristen Winter (Jared Bird), Nicholas Winter (Gentry), Ashley Zylstra (Tyler), Megan Johannes (Will), Spencer Sharp, Katie Sharp (Jonathan Jansen), Lance Von Ah Jr., Nicole Von Ah and Halle Von Ah; her siblings, Don Winter of Lawler and Jeanette Kurtenbach of La Joya, TX; and her close friend Dave Swenumson. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hugeback-Johnson Funeral Home and Crematory (101 W Main St, New Hampton, IA 50659). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church (2940 IA-24, Lawler, IA 52154).
