We bid farewell to Francis Joseph Martin of New Hampton, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 18, 2024 at the age of 89. Francis touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Martin and Elizabeth Martin (O'Neill); his daughter Theresa; and his siblings, James, John, Pat, Paul, Mary Pat, Agnes and Regina.
He is survived by: his wife Eleanore Barloon; and his children, Laurie Waterman (Tom) of Frederika, IA, Ron Martin of Blue Springs, MO., Carol Messersmith (Dan) of New Hampton, IA and Shawn Hulbert (Jim) of Ionia, IA. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hugeback-Johnson Funeral Home & Crematory (101 W Main St, New Hampton, IA 50659). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Family Parish (206 N Broadway Ave, New Hampton, IA 50659).
