With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Ann Ries of New Hampton, Iowa, who passed away on June 5, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Erwin Burke and Alice Burke (Kelly); her sons, Timothy Ries and Joseph Ries; her siblings, Norma Rosonke (Leonard), Elaine Tilkes (Greg) and James Burke (Mary Lee); her brother-in-law Sylvester Wegner; her parents-in-law, Reynold and Adeline Ries; her brother Don; her sister-in-law Arlene Boeding; and her nephew Jeff Ries.
She is survived by: her husband Cletus; her children, Roger Ries (Brenda) of Kasson, MN, Lonnie Ries (Amy) of New Hampton, Lisa Hilsman (Roger), Sherri TeKippe (John) of Des Moines and Anita Quirk (Brian) of New Hampton; her grandchildren, Amanda Madery, Alyson Henn, Amber Bradley, Alicia Mutapcic, Gerene TeKippe, Richie TeKippe, Celena Pasco, Claire Quirk, Aydin Ries, Taylor Ries and Maelynn Ries; her sister Mary Wegner (Wegner) of New Hampton; and her siblings-in-law, Merle and Shirley Ries of Cedar Rapids. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
