He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Lechtenberg and Agnes Lechtenberg (Schwamman); his parents-in-law, Charles and Blanche Kobliska; his granddaughter Clarissa Sue; his brother Dale Lechtenberg; and his sister-in-law Cheryl Lechtenberg.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Lechtenberg of New Hampton, IA; his sons, Kevin Lechtenberg of Kansas City, MO, Brian Lechtenberg (Amy) of Forest City, IA, Mark Lechtenberg (April) of Deep River, IA and Curt Lechtenberg (Lori) of Plainfield, IA; his grandchildren, Kayla, Aidan, Vanessa, Ashley, Amber, Shelby, Cody, Jolene, Shea, Shyla, Hannah and Hailey; his siblings, Kenny Lechtenberg of North Washington, IA, Richard Lechtenberg (Linda) of New Hampton, IA, Dennis Lechtenberg (Rose) of North Washington, IA, Darlene Aegeter of Fredericksburg, IA and Alice Pomplun of Warroad, MN; and his sister-in-law LuAnn Lechtenberg of New Hampton, IA.. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
