It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Dean Drewelow of New Hampton, Iowa, who passed away on October 22, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Drewelow and Beverly Drewelow (Watts); his wife Linda Drewelow; his sister Peggy Drewelow; and his brothers-in-law, Dan Peine and Ronald Roethler.
He is survived by: his former wife Becky Hagemeier; his stepchildren, Danae and Theresa Hagemeier; his son Stephen Richard Drewelow (Valerie) of Golden, CO; his stepson Jim Keeler (Tammy) of Gladbrook, IA; his grandchildren, Abigail Adams (Tyler) of Wichita, KS, Isabella Hoy (William) of Topeka, KS, Noah Drewelow, Annabelle Drewelow of Golden, CO, Danelle Keeler and Ethan Keeler of Gladbrook, IA; and his siblings, Vern Drewelow (Megan) of New Hampton, IA, Shirley Roethler of Charles City, IA, Karen Kane (Rod) of Oran, IA, Rita Fisher (Darwin) of New Hampton, IA and Barbara Kottke (Andrew) of Fredericksburg, IA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family would be grateful for donations made in David's name to the Chickasaw County Veterans Memorial Park in New Hampton, IA, or the Lawler Area Veterans Monument in Lawler, IA, both on which David is listed and honored for his service to his country.
