He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ewing and Anna Marie Ewing (Billmyer); and his brothers-in-law, Bruce Dahlstrom and Alyn Bucheit. He is survived by: his former wife Roberta "Bobbi" Webster; his children, Shawn Ewing of Waukon, Ashley Ewing (Mike Wilcoxson) of Lawler and Joseph Ewing of Waukon; his grandsons, Allen Wilcoxson of Lawler and Brady Ewing of Waukon; his siblings, Lawrence Ewing of Elma, LouAnn Bucheit of Decorah, Deb Dugan (Dave) of Waterloo, Patty Dahlstran (Al Peterson) of Lansing, Judy Miller (Don) of Postville and Donna Stone (Darby) of Lansing; and his aunt Kay Snitker of Waukon. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
