Cletus J. Schwickerath Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cletus J. Schwickerath of New Hampton, Iowa, who passed away on January 11, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Schwickerath and Josephine Schwickerath (Mishak); and his siblings, Robert Schwickerath (Marlys), Joanna Geerts (Elmer), Bernice Felder (Ray) and Alice Carpenter (Herb).
He is survived by: his wife Eleanor of New Hampton; and his children, Craig (Deb) of Cedar Falls, Tony (Janet) of New Hampton, Scott (Julie) of Remsen and Patrice Schilling (Brian) of New Hampton. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hugeback-Johnson Funeral Home - New Hampton (101 W Main St, New Hampton, IA 50659). A prayer was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Parish Scripture Service. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (114 N Wapsi St, North Washington, IA 50659). A graveside service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Mary's Cemetery - North Washington (1641 170th St, New Hampton, IA 50659).
