With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Brock Corbin Schmidt of New Hampton, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 22, 2025 at the age of 41. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Jimmie Schmidt; and his godfather Jack Lockett. He is survived by: his wife Marea Schmidt (Baker) of New Hampton; his mother Pamela Schmidt (Treptow) of Janesville; his children, Jonathan Baker of New Hampton, Addison Schmidt of New Hampton, Evelyn Schmidt of New Hampton, Kaylee Baker (Andrew Coyler) of Lamoni, Grace Baker of New Hampton and Annabelle Baker of New Hampton; his father-in-law Duane Wickman (Kathy); his siblings-in-law, Jeff Wickman, Paul Wickman, Adrian Montano, Greg Schmitt, Annette Montano and Sara Schmitt; his uncle Greg Treptow; his aunt Kim Blazek (Don); his cousins, Jamee Schmitt (Brandon), Johanna Blazek, Wyatt Blazek, Jalyssa Blazek and Laurinda Karsten; his godmother Nancy Lockett; and his friend Mel Anderson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, at 5:00 PM and on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 9:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church - New Hampton (223 S Water Ave, New Hampton, IA 50659).
