With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia Marzen (New Albin, Iowa), who passed away on November 29, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Irvin G. Meyer and Claudia Meyer (Donovan); her son Ralph Marzen; and her brother Ralph Meyer. She is survived by: her husband Max G. Marzen of Joseph's Catholic Church; her daughters, Colleen Phillips (Chuck) of Columbus, OH, Marianne Klosterman (Paul) of Buchanan, ND, Janice Courneya (Doug) of Rochester, MN and Jean Marzen of Willow Park, TX; her grandchildren, Matthew Phillips, Mitchell Phillips, Ashley Courneya, Eric Courneya, Evan Bradley, William Klosterman, Ginna Klosterman and Celia Klosterman; her great grandchild Athena Phillips; and her sister Karen Adams of La Crosse, WI.
