With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Norlin Meiners of New Albin, Iowa, who passed away on April 6, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Meiners and Olga Meiners Thimmesch (Meyer); his stepfather Gregor Thimmesch; his brother Wilbert Meiners (Linda); and his brother-in-law Don Farnholtz.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Johnson of Waukon; his children, Amy Howard (Dave) of Waukon, Tara Meiners of Melrose, WI, Rich Meiners (Sue) of Cashton, WI and Jennifer Woods (Matt) of Fort Atkinson, WI; and his siblings, Betty Farnholtz (Gerry) of Winona, MN, Vernald Meiners (Star) of New Albin, Kenneth Meiners (Susan) of New Albin, Gary Meiners (Carolyn) of Palmyra, WI, Linda Miller (Harold "Pepper") of Waukon and John Thimmesch of Necedah, WI. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Martin-Grau Funeral Home & Cremation Service (202 Allamakee St NW, Waukon, IA 52172).
