She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Smith and Lyla Smith (Solberg); her siblings, Ronald, Roderick Smith, Linda Sires and Patty Gilman; her nephew Brent Smith; and her siblings-in-law, Roger Freese and Marguerite "Mimi" Donahue.
She is survived by: her former husband Lawrence James Donahue; her husband Larry of New Albin; her children, Patty Donahue (John) of New Albin, Shelly Gallagher (Mike) of New Albin, Colleen Donahue (Curtis) of New Albin, Erin Donahue (Mike) of Mindoro, WI and Mary Mitchell (Mike); her grandsons, Jared Donahue and Michael "Mikey" Mitchell; her siblings, Sue Freese of Waukon, Dennis Smith (Cindy) of Monona, IA, Randy Smith (Pam) of Waukon, Fred Smith (Geralyn) of Waukon and Greg Smith (Kristie) of Waukon; and her sister-in-law Theresa Smith of Decorah. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In consideration of concerns regarding Covid-19, social distancing and wearing of masks will be observed during both the visitation and funeral service.
