He is survived by: his sons, Eric Sommermeyer (Kimberly) of Waverly, IA and Jon Sommermeyer (Kandee Tower) of New Albin; his grandchildren, Lukas and Karsten Sommermeyer; his brother Gary Sommermeyer of Southbury, CT; his sister-in-law Barb Grahlman of Postville, IA; his niece Brandi Bachman; and his nephew Brian Grahlman.
