She was predeceased by: her parents, Goldmer Hankins and Jessie Hankins (Roe); her husband DeWayne Wilkening; her son Bret Wilkening; and her siblings, Junior, Glen "Bud", Don, Evelyn and Virginia.
She is survived by: her children, Barry Wilkening (Donna) of Rapid City, Bradley Wilkening (Kay) of Ankeny, Brian Wilkening (Ann) of Maxwell, Iowa, Stacie Severson (Keith) of Lakewood, Shelley Thomson (Jim) of South Windsor and Shawn Wilkening (Shawn) of Sarasota, Florida. She is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be to Nevada First United Methodist Church.
