It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Maxine Rinehart of Nevada, Iowa, born in Boone, Iowa, who passed away on April 8, 2024, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Sturtz and Jessie Sturtz (Richards); her husband Warren John August Rinehart; her son Mark Rinehart; and her siblings, Harold, Norman, Maurice Sturtz and Arlene Scott.
She is survived by: her daughter Mel Hill (Ron) of Nevada; her grandchildren, Jason Boyd (Cindy), Bryan Boyd (Amanda), Mark Rinehart (Jessica), Stacy Wolfe (Scott) and Brad Hill (Katie); and her sister-in-law Eleanor Sturtz of Pella. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion or to DAV (Disabled American Veterans).
