He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyle Holtman and Erma Holtman (Brown); and his brother-in-law Scot Struble. He is survived by: his wife Shelley of Nevada; his children, Erin Miller (Derek) of Bettendorf and Kyle Holtman (Laura) of Ankeny; his granddaughters, Natalie Miller, Katherine Miller and Dylan Holtman; his brother Jon Holtman (Shaela) of Ames; his nieces, Stephanie Lopez (Tony) and Andrea Holtman; his nephew Ethan Holtman; his parent-in-law Dick Struble of Ankeny; his brother-in-law Kirk Struble of Urbandale; and also Fern Struble of Ankeny.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church in Nevada.
