He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Spaid and Vera Spaid. He is survived by: his significant other Joyce May; his children, Charles, William, Patricia Seals, Wiliam Spaid, Holly Weyant (Jim) and Rodney Spaid (Angie); his grandchildren, Heather Schadt (Chuck), Erica Spaid, Charlee Spaid, Mathew Spaid, Mckinley Spaid, Makayla Spaid, Travis Vaughn (Anna), Trevor Vaughn (Bri), Tiffany Pennington (Brandon), Blake Davenport, Austin Davenport (Chelsea), Libby Keislar (Taylor) and Brant Spaid (Katie); his son Charlie; and his brothers, William and Jim. He is also survived by his great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Rasmusson-Ryan Funeral Home & Crematory - Nevada (1418 Fawcett Pkwy, Nevada, IA 50201, USA). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
