It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leola Jane Fain of Nevada, Iowa, born in Buffalo Center, Iowa, who passed away on November 8, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Johnson and Evelyn Johnson; and her sister Peggy Johnson Sell. She is survived by: her husband Willie; her children, Joel Fain of Iowa City and Julie Brown (Mark) of Iowa City; her grandchildren, Conner, Kennedy and Kieler; her great grandchild Jennifer Fain (Carrie) of Ankeny; and also, Luke and Ryan.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Rasmusson-Ryan Funeral Home & Crematory - Nevada (1418 Fawcett Pkwy, Nevada, IA 50201, USA). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
