He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harold Lang and Wanda Lang (Purtle) of State Center; his wife Stephanie Propp; his grandchildren, Alivia, Kennedy, Jaxon, Baby Camp, Linda Cox (Jim) of Des Moines, Mary Reisinger (Bruce) of Clemons, IA, Janet German (David) of Nevada, Joyce Barron of Boone, Loretta Kimball (Craig) of Fountain, CO, Bob Lang (Patty) of Saucier, MS and Becky Carr (Harold) of Waterloo; his siblings, Marty Barnett, Jim Lang and John Lang; and his friend Dean Splittgerber. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Memorials may be directed to his family to establish a bench in his honor.
