He was predeceased by: his parents, Irwin Stoeffler and Ruth Stoeffler (Zook); his wife Marilyn Pugh; and his brothers, Ray, Gary, Kent and Bradley.

He is survived by: his daughter Dru Stoeffler of Nevada, Iowa; and his sisters, Sue Streeter of State Center and Becky Johnson of Colo, Iowa..
