He was predeceased by: his parents, Darrell Dayton and Charlotte Jean Starbuck (McAtee); and his brother Dayton Starbuck. He is survived by: his wife Helen Marie White of Nevada; his children, Tony Starbuck (Janese) of Des Moines, Megan Starbuck of Nevada and Charlie Starbuck (Melissa) of Nevada; his granddaughter Sierrah Starbuck of Corona, CA; and his siblings, Brad Starbuck (Rhonda) of Ames, Kathie Kuhns (Phil) of Nevada and Linda Jennings (Frank) of Colo.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Nevada Fire Department.
