We are sad to announce that on August 17, 2019, at the age of 76, David H Stensland (Nevada, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Orland Stensland and Pauline Stensland (Berrett); his wife Joan Philiph; his brother Tom; his children, Jeff Stensland (Kristie) of Nevada, Julie Schrader (Craig) of Story City and Jessie Larson (Josh) of Indianola; his grandchildren, Zach Stensland (Sheyenne), Travis Stensland (Cailey), Cole, Allison, Jude and Eleanor; and his brother Ron Stensland (Virginia) of Ames. He was also cherished by three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Nevada Fire Department, or the Nevada or Gilbert FFA chapters, which he avidly supported.
