It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Catherine Roane (Neola, Iowa), who passed away on April 4, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Patrick John and Mary Catherine McDonald (Masker); her husband Bob Roane; her grandson Matthew Roane; her children, Larry Roane and Barbara Roane; and her siblings, Marie Mortensen, Phyllis Burke, Emmett, Cletus, Francis and Jack McDonald.
She is survived by: her children, Cathy (Richard Corrin), Rob (Judy Roane) and Darrell Roane; her sisters, Helen Casson and Loretta Stinn; and her sisters-in-law, Shirley and Angela McDonald. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren.
