She is survived by: her sons, Marvin Benning (Anne) of Charles City, Travis Benning (Jamie) of Ankeny and Dustin Benning of Blair, Nebraska; her sisters, Betty Ruckman (George) of Harlan and Colleen Lujan of The Colony, Texas; and her brother-in-law Richard "Dick" Schwery of Panama, Iowa. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren.
