He was predeceased by: his father John Brich; his wife Ruth Romesburg; his siblings, Leonard, Roberta, Bill, Donna Bloomquist and Dorothy Nissen; and his siblings-in-law, Bill Masker, Bob Bloomquist and Denise Brich.
He is survived by: his daughters, Pamela Wright (Scott), Karen Zimmerman (Aaron), Sarah Elliott (Dan) of Minden, IA., Laura Calek (Chad) of Santa Monica, CA., Cecilia Thomas (Chad), Neola and Cheryl Vellema (Tony) of Ankeny, IA.; his grandchildren, Erin, Lance Wright, Sophie, Peter Zimmerman, Danielle, Zach, Kent Elliott, Hayden, Allie, Lucas Thomas, George and Charlotte Vellema; his siblings, David Brich (Dori) of Dunlap, IA., Rosemary Kloewer (Charlie) of Mapleton, IA., Cecilia (Roberta), Josephine Losh, Jeanette Masker and Neola; and his siblings-in-law, Rosemary Brich of Waukee, IA. and Chuck Nissen (Omaha). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Memorials are suggested to St. Patrick's Church and Neola Fire and Rescue.
