With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald R. Johnsen of Neola, Iowa, born in Council Bluffs, Iowa, who passed away on March 2, 2022 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Donald R. Johnsen to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles W. Johnsen and Esther G. Johnsen (Geise); his wife Marilyn Johnsen; and his sister Margaret Lou Jorgensen. He is survived by: his children, Jeri Johnsen of Pointblank, Charles W. "Ben" Johnsen (Beth) of Underwood, Jolinda "Jody" Gilbert (Tim) of Garden City and Donna Spetman (Mike) of Sheffield, Iowa. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

The family will direct memorial contributions.
