He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Mary Fischer (Hannifan); his grandfathers, Con Hannifan and Frank Fischer; his wife Dolores Berens of Neola; his father Tony Fischer (Tony); his siblings, Helen Clare Murphy, Rosemary Schwertley, Paul and Leo Fischer; his children, Mary Jo Dobrydney (Frank) of Springfield, VA, Dorothy Mauro (Michael) of Des Moines and John Fischer (Mary) of Neola; his sister Marilyn Carr of Platteville, WS.; his sister-in-law Pauline Fischer of Des Moines; and also Tony. He was also cherished by nine grandchildren and twenty four great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the St. Patrick Church Foundation, St. Albert Schools, either the Neola or Underwood Fire and Rescue Departments, or a favorite charity of your choice.
