Sharon Lee Merfeld Obituary
The memory of Sharon Lee Merfeld of Nashua, Iowa, who passed away on April 18, 2024 at the age of 88, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Chandler and Marvlyn Chandler Stuelke (Castor); her stepfather Theron Stuelke (Mick Merfeld); and her sons, Greg Merfeld and Tim Merfeld.
She is survived by: her husband Mick Merfeld; her daughter Suzy Turner (Keith) of Rockford; and her daughters-in-law, Carrie Merfeld of Manteco and Sheri Merfeld (Takeguma). She is also survived by four grandchildren, and many friends.
To honor Sharon's love of reading and history, the family requests memorial contributions be made in her name to the Nashua Public Library or the Nashua-Plainfield National History Day Program.
