He was predeceased by: his parents, Velma Grandy (Otto) and Glen A Grandy; his wife Alice Littauer; and his siblings, Milton Grandy and Marlys Jacobs.
He is survived by: his father-in-law Conrad Schroeder; his brother Alvin Schroeder (Arlyce) of Denver, IA; his nieces and nephews, Joan Schmidt (Scott), Stuart Jacobs (Theresa), Trent Jacobs (Lori), Hope Runge (Brian), Lane (Abby), Angie, Andy Schroeder (Leaann) of Seymore, IN and Amy Terrill (Lantz) of Cedar Falls, IA.; and his brother-in-law Merrill Jacobs of Waukon. He is also survived by 16 Great nieces and nephews and 1 great, great-nephew.
For those attending in person, it is strongly recommended to practice social distancing and face masks are required for both the funeral and visitation.
