She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Zwanziger (Caroline) and Caroline Zwanziger (Rausch); her family, Carolyn, Mary, Twila, Dennis and Rick; her children, Carolyn Mashek of Waterloo, IA, Mary Swehla (Dale) of Venice, FL, Twila Bobst (Jeff) of Waverly, IA, Dennis Westervelt (Janice) of Dubuque, IA and Rick Westervelt of Mora, MN; her brother Virgil Zwanziger of Nashua, IA; her brother-in-law Donald Niemeyer of Nashua, IA.; her husband Bud Westervelt; her siblings, Clark Zwanziger (Eileen), Donald Zwanziger (Marian), Robert Zwanziger and Evelyn Niemeyer; her sister-in-law Rosemary Zwanziger; her half-sister Dorothy Kirkham; and her daughter-in-law Penny Westervelt. She was also cherished by 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren.
