John Phyfe Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Phyfe of Nashua, Iowa, who passed away on March 17, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Phyfe and Alice Phyfe (Rogers); his brother-in-law Dr. Thomas Hoerner; and his nephew Ricky Phyfe. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Lynette and Steve; his wife Mary Lou of Nashua; his children, Lynette Phyfe (Duncan Strong) of Winnipeg, Canada and Steve Phyfe (Lisa) of Waverly; his grandchildren, Alex McGregor of Winnipeg, Canada, Mariah McGregor (Steven Hamonic) of Chicago, Aftin Riggs (Jacob) and Austin Phyfe (Abbi Staack) of Cedar Falls; and his siblings, LeRoy Phyfe (Rita) of Geneseo, Illinois and Carolyn Hoerner of Boone.
