She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Brown and Helen Brown (Springer); her brothers, Kenneth and Dale Brown; and her great grandchild Kaden Wilken.
She is survived by: her husband Jim Nelson of Nashua; her children, Erik Nelson (Cindi), Barry Nelson of Nashua and Deb Marth (Brian) of Urbandale; and her grandchildren, Chad Nelson, Kurt Nelson, Erika White, Sara Wilken, Abby Hejlik, Brianna Johnson and Beau Marth. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
