He is survived by: his children, Craig Bast of Johnstown, CO, Ron Bast of Fredericksburg, IA, Cathy Rain of Preston, MN and Jeanine Hodge (Bill) of Hampton, IA; and his sister-in-law Marv Bast of Nashua, IA. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
