He was predeceased by: his father Robert Whitcomb; and his grandparents, Minnie Irene Worthen and Otto Paul Worthen. He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Whitcomb of Mystic; his children, Billy Beaty (Allison) of Moravia, Desiree Watson (Daniel) of Conway Arkansas, Shalee Hoffman (Ronne) of Iowa, TJ, Michael Whitcomb of Conway Arkansas, Josh Whitcomb (Anna) of Conway Arkansas, Eric Whitcomb of Conway Arkansas and Nathaniel Whitcomb (Lindsey) of Conway Arkansas; his mother Carol Leatherwood (Worthen) of Oskaloosa; his brother Kevin Whitcomb of Ottumwa; and his siblings-in-law, Becky Bills (Boone) of Mystic, Mona Barbaglia (Donnie) of Mystic, Mike Beaty (Kim) of Moravia and Raelynn Robinson (Doug) of Moravia. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A memorial has been established to Rhonda Whitcomb, to be determined at a later date, and may be mailed to Lange Funeral Home and Crematory, 1900 S. 18th St., Centerville, Iowa, 52544.
