He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Thomas and Sharon Thomas (Tuszynski); his siblings, Richard Thomas and Katy Wireman; his uncle E. C.; his aunt Pat; and his cousins, Ted and Michael Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Penny Opperman; his sisters, Vicki Clark (Ted) and Judith McDaniel (Steve); and his brother-in-law Bob Wireman. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and good friends.
