He was predeceased by: his parents, Winton A. Chumbley and Eva Chumbley (Sargent); his sister Eva Gater; and his son-in-law Ted Jones. He is survived by: his children, Jill Jones (Billy Joe Cross) of Ottumwa and Cory Allen of LaFayette, Alabama; his grandson Nathan Jones of Mystic, Iowa; and his nephew Tony Chumbley (Deanna) of Indianola, Iowa.
