She was predeceased by: her parents, Lola Jewel Ashley Purvis and Earl Gordon Purvis Sr.; her brother Earl Gordon Purvis Jr.; her brother-in-law Larry D. Abel; and her niece Constance Abel.
She is survived by: her children, Melinda J. Warnick of Mystic and John V. Warnick of Mystic; and her siblings, Frances Ruth Woodliff (Ed) of Lapeer, Catherine Elaine Abel of Riceville, Jerry Purvis of Ottumwa, Shirley K. Kimberling (Bob) of Greely, Terry Wayne Purvis (Deb) of Gifford and Charlotte Fenton (Dennie) of Moulton.
