She was predeceased by: her husband Dean Chester; her parents, Clyde Kaestner and Ruth Kaestner; and her siblings, Marjorie Louise Perkins, Mary Virginia Porter, Donald James Kaestner and James "Crop" Robinson.
She is survived by: her children, Chris Chester (Jamie) of Mystic, Betty Howell (Pat) of Sugarland, Tina Amos (Bruce) of Indianola and Lisa Croushorn of Tampa, Florida; and her brother Richard "Dick" Kaestner (Karla) of Knoxville. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
