He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy S. Crump and Emma Crump (Tolbert); his siblings, Martha Lou, Roy, Stemple and Jay; and his nephews, Tim Crump and Patrick Crump.
He is survived by: his wife Pat; his children, Wayne Jr. Crump (Valarie), Debbie Arndt (Bob) and John Crump (Michelle); his grandchildren, Stuart Kerns (Kristy), Elyse Kerns, Becky Ford (Mike), Tim Arndt (Kate), Kaitlynn Crump, Kaylie Crump, Noah Crump and Mason Crump; his great grandchildren, Easton, Aubrey, Avery, Callie, Sawyer, Lawson and Maxie; and his brother Frank S. Crump (Irene). He is also survived by cousins; and nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home (1931 Houser St, Muscatine, IA 52761). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Hillcrest Baptist Church (1613 Bidwell Rd, Muscatine, IA 52761).
