It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Viola Gonzales (Muscatine, Iowa), who passed away at the age of 66, on January 1, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan DeLeon Sr. and Guadalupe Cerna DeLeon; and her siblings, George, John, Jose, Becky and Yolanda.

She is survived by: her husband Juan Gonzales; her daughters, Lucinda Perez, Rebecca Garcia and Jannie Gonzales Jacobs (Andrew); and her siblings, Otila DeLeon, Mary DeLeon, Patty Underwood, Joel DeLeon, Ramona DeLeon and Irma DeLeon. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home (1931 Houser St, Muscatine, IA 52761). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

Memorials may be made to the family, in the care of Juan, to help assist with the purchase of a headstone.
