He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore McKee and Frances McKee Flanery (Beveridge); his wife Diane Walsh; his son Mark McKee; his brother James McKee; and his nephews, Ted McKee and Jeff McKee.
He is survived by: his children, John "Jay" McKee (Lisa) of Austin, James "Jim" McKee (Chris) of Muscatine, Margo Hamsher (Mike) of Tulsa and Madeleine Eagle (Terry) of Lakewood Ranch, Florida; and his grandchildren, Shawn Young, Ted McKee, Madeleine Fidler, Jamee Jenen, JT McKee, Adrienne McKee, Mallory Sims, Elyse Manzer, Emily Kluska, Colin McKee, Michael Hamsher, Dylan Eagle, Dee McKee, Scott McKee and Ian McKee. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
