He is survived by: his children, Vanessa Zaehringer (Chris Wallace) of Muscatine, Andrew Zaehringer of Iowa City and Marsha Schlicht (David) of Pella; his grandchildren, Madeline, Alaina Wallace, Matthew, Michael Simons and Nikki Purcell; his siblings, Donnie Zaehringer of Muscatine, Willard Zaehringer of Muscatine, Ronnie Zaehringer of Muscatine, Glen Zaehringer (Jan) of Grandview, Kathy Hake (Roger) of Muscatine, Sandy Zaehringer of Muscatine, Charley Zaehringer of Muscatine and Brad Zaehringer (Sheri) of Muscatine; and his close friends, Dave, Barb Housley, Todd, Trisha Hackett, Kevin and Sandy Silverhorn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
