He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Wilks and Fay Wilks (Chinn); and his sisters, Mary Fay Robinson, Laura Jo Abbott and Diana Wessley.
He is survived by: his wife Cindy Wilks of Muscatine; his children, Shelia Soderburg (Mike) of Tennessee, Jason Law of Georgia, Jeff Law of Muscatine, Bonnie Wilks of Muscatine and Robert Wilks Jr. of Muscatine; his grandchildren, Krystal, Kassie, Colton, Keegan, Justin, Kenna, Makenzie, Willow and Mila; his great grandchildren, Dakayta, Jordan, Caroline and Adaline; and his siblings, Patsy Lane, Elmer Wilks (Dolores) and Judy Hunt (Joe).
