He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard John and Kathyrn VanDyke Kruse; his granddaughter Savannah Hahn; and his siblings, Mike, Carl Kruse, Emma Nesbit, Pat Munson and Peggy Willet.
He is survived by: his children, Scott Kruse, Tammy Kruse (Matt Whitlow) and Tonia McCullough (Kevin); his grandchildren, Kayla Reedy (Jared), Tyler Kruse (Jen), Samantha Martin, Chase Kruse (Kyrah) and Trea Kruse; his great grandchildren, Paisley, Carson, Cambrie and Colsyn; and his siblings, Bonnie Kruse, Randy Kruse, Leslie'Moke'Kruse and Rick Kruse.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home (1931 Houser St, Muscatine, IA 52761).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family, in care of Tammy Kruse.
