He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Kisner and Margaret Josephine Kisner (Blanchard); and his siblings, James Kisner and Mary Jo Ribbink. He is survived by: his wife Ann F. Behrens of Muscatine; his sons, Todd Kisner (Julie) of East Moline and Brad Kisner (Mary) of Muscatine; his grandchildren, Sarah Weinert (Benjamin) and Benjamin Kisner (Sarah Dressler); his great grandchildren, Nora and Henry; and his sister-in-law Janice Kisner of Davenport.
