He was predeceased by: his father Alberto G. Hernandez; and his mother-in-law Riva Lessenger Brown. He is survived by: his mother Beatrice Ramos Hernandez of Muscatine; his wife Kristy Nicole Brown of Muscatine; his children, Kaitlyn Bierman of Phoenix and Jett Hernandez of Muscatine; his granddaughter Emmery Kay Johnson of Phoenix, Arizona; his siblings, Roel Hernandez of Bettendorf, Albert Hernandez of Bettendorf, Rolando Hernandez of Muscatine and Amy Quiroz (Jesse) of Muscatine; his brothers-in-law, Gabe Brown of Muscatine and Chad Stuart of Muscatine; and his father-in-law Keith Brown of Melrose, Iowa. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in care of Kristy Hernandez, for a future trust for Jett Hernandez.
