She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Jens and Dora Jens (Meyer); her former husband Clayton Fuhlman; her husband Edwin Beck; and her siblings, Wilfred Jens (Martha), Loren Jens (Virginia), Vera Miller (Raymond), Violet Messinger, Delores Strong (John) and Betty Snider (John).
She is survived by: her children, Phillip Fuhlman (Jan) and Sheila Neal (Mark); her stepgranddaughters, Desiree Demers (Denis) and Dawn Dusenberry (Glen); her stepgreat-grandson Nathan Schmitt; and her stepdaughters, Cythnia Peterson and Deborah Schmidt (Ned). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
A memorial has been established for New Era Lutheran Church in Phyllis' memory.
