She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyman Thorpe and Nellie Pasdach Thorpe (Pasdach); her husband Fred; her son Gary Lee Evans; her siblings, Charles Thorpe, Gilbert Thorpe, Jack Thorpe, Delano Thorpe, Bob Thorpe and June Smith; her granddaughter Michelle Evans; and her great grandchild Colton Wilson.
She is survived by: her daughter Joyce Evans-Viner of Muscatine; her granddaughters, Julie Viner-Wilson, Melissa Viner-Rhodes and Angela Evans-Rickless; and her great grandchildren, Amy Hahn, Clayton Wilson, Merissa Rhodes, Tori Reed, James Rocha, Tristan Rickless and Alexandra Evans.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home (1931 Houser St, Muscatine, IA 52761). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery.
